We collate benchmarking data to help our clients understand at a high level whether cost and space metrics demonstrate that organisations are effectively and efficiently supported by FM and Estates.
Data is obtained from our procurement projects, strategic reviews and change management projects. We use “The IPD Occupiers International Total Occupancy Cost Code” to abstract information to ensure that as far as possible we compare data on a like for like basis. This information is pooled and analysed.
We recognise that every building is different with unique business drivers, property metrics and service delivery. However, we find that benchmarking data helps focus management time to areas of greatest opportunity and is a good indicator to support strategic planning. It helps present a challenge to the business and where appropriate their supply chain.
